*And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?*
Good attention should be given to our spiritual empowerment as we journey into the new year. life is measured by our spiritual weight. And it is only empowerment from the Lord that enables us to make maximum impact and reign on earth. Also, satan respects us according to our spiritual strength and authority.
Besides, favour also comes to us according to our spiritual rank. Until Jesus grew up in Luke 2:40, that favour came in verse 52.
Luke 2:40, 52 (KJV)
[40] *And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.*
[52] *And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.*
The earnest heart desire of everyone is to experience progress in life but this can only happen when you have taken time to develop your spirit man so that the wickedness of the world cannot toss you to and fro.
Therefore, you need to stay connected to God so that He will continually release the required strength for the journey into the year.
Do not trivialize the study of the word, regular fasting with heartfelt prayer, and good companionship with the Holy Ghost. With all these in place, you can be sure of a fruitful and favour filled year ahead.

O Lord my God, grant me grace to daily desire your word for my spiritual growth in the mighty name of Jesus!

O Lord my God, grant me grace to daily spread my roots in the water of your word in the mighty name of Jesus!

O Lord my God, grant me grace to give attention to my spiritual growth via reading and studying of your word in the mighty name of Jesus!

*Let my cry come near before thee, O Lord: give me understanding according to thy word.*
O Lord my God, grant me sound understanding of your precepts in the mighty name of Jesus!
5. Psalm 62:5 (KJV)
*My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.*
O Lord my heavenly Father, grant my desired harvest this year in the mighty name of Jesus!
6. Psalms 90:14 (KJV)
*O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.*
My Father and my God, arise and settle me early, don't let my miracle be delayed in the mighty name of Jesus!
7. Psalm 145:15 (KJV)
*The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.*
O Lord my God do not let my season pass me by, arise on my behalf in the mighty name of Jesus!
8. Leviticus 26:9 (KJV)
*For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.*
i. O Lord my Father, prosper the works of my hands and cause me to be fruitful in all that I do in the mighty name of Jesus!
ii. My Father, grant me an unprecedented enlargement and increase this year and beyond in the mighty name of Jesus!
9. Psalm 107:29 (KJV)
*He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.*
i. O Lord my God, arise and still every storm raging against my life, finance, career, health, marriage, family, children etc. in the mighty name of Jesus!
ii. O Lord my Father, do not allow any storm to prevail over me in the mighty name of Jesus!
Thank you Father for working exceedingly and abundantly above all that I ask or think.
