*SELFLESS SERVICES*
Acts 13:36 (KJV)
*For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:*
Galatians 6:10 (KJV)
*As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.*
We must all strive to make our world a better place by daily adding value to others and our environment. God wants us to be looking for opportunities to serve and bless others.
Ephesians 6:7 (NIV)
*Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men,*
When every individual in our society learns to put others first, the world will surely transform into a better place.
Daniel 5:17 (KJV)
*Then Daniel answered and said before the king, Let thy gifts be to thyself, and give thy rewards to another; yet I will read the writing unto the king, and make known to him the interpretation.*
We all need to be positive and selfless in our approach to life. The King, Belteshazaar, offered Daniel financial inducement to work for him. The above quoted scripture was Daniel's response. Daniel was willing to do service without strings attached.
Many are not ready to serve now without any financial benefit. Those who always think of service in the context of what to gain will not only forfeit the joy in serving but they may actually endanger themselves as the case of Balaam proved.
God has a special way of rewarding those who serve wholeheartedly.
Be lost in service, you will be found in Christ.
Good morning and have a refreshing weekend.
